Lets talk
about some things here for a minute. Businesses have been around some
many years going way back to God knows when.
Many
businesses have just started, many have been around many years. Just
because a company has been around many years doesn't mean they do
QUALITY work and installation, this is fact!
Remember a
long time ago, (maybe your great grandparents knew), that when you
bought something that you are spending your money on you got excellent
quality in the products and services you paid for?
It seems
today that all businesses want to make money. Sure, who doesn't want to
make money?
What has
left the products, services, and craftsmanship of most businesses for
the consumer and that is QUALITY. The business owners are the
ones to blame on this issue, no one else.
When I
started this company in 2002 the first thing that came to my mind when I
started it and that was offering the consumer quality service, quality
products, quality craftsmanship, and a lifetime warranty for as long as
you own the motorcycle or vehicle that the LED Lights are mounted on and
we put our warranty
in writing on our invoices when
other dealer/installers don't!
We are not
concerned on how much money I can get out of a customer as some of the
other businesses are doing regardless of what type of poor
craftsmanship or poor products they put on your
motorcycle. Some LED manufacturers have a 10-20% failure rate and
some of those other LED Dealers/Installers are putting them on bikes
they install lighting on. And who wants to search for a Dealer/Installer
when those LED's fail that they installed lights on? Some of those
Dealers/Installers avoid their customers due to many lighting failures
when their customers try and contact them about issues.
Other LED Dealer/Installers who basically don't use the PROPER gauge
wire for lighting, or some shady way of hooking up connections that they
use. I HAVE had some "new" customers come to me for wiring or lighting
problems from the other Dealer/Installers who shouldn't even be in
business, much less touch their bike!
Some of
those other lighting repairs I have done to fix a customers lighting
problems from those other LED Dealer/Installers can and have been costly
at times due to tracking down shorts, diagnostics of malfunction of the
lighting and wiring, improper soldering, (which shouldn't be done on
more than 1 wire being soldered together as MOST of these LED
Dealers/Installers will solder more than 1 wire, up to 6-10 wires
together for hot and ground connections which in all actuality resisters
are being made for the amount of solder that is used that has been done
for connections, etc and the list goes on. These Dealers/Installers will
convince you that soldering is the best way to go. If you KNOW ANYTHING
about electrical you know what I am saying IS FACT. If not you can
research what soldering many wires together will actually make resisters
reducing the amperage for your lighting.
The LED Lighting fixtures ALREADY has resistors built into them so they
WORK PROPERLY for the amperage and voltage they are rated for from the
manufacturer that makes them. So these LED Dealers/Installers who solder
are MODIFYING your lighting which could and can cause your lighting to
FAIL.
Our
Customers have never had any issues with any of our lighting, nor our
service for lighting installed on their motorcycles or cars. Except in
situations where the customer brings their motorcycle to the shop for
repairs or service and fail to inform the service writer that they have
LED Accent Lighting and turn the lights on for the service writer to
VERIFY the lights are working properly prior to service work done and
checking the LED Accent Lighting prior to leaving the shop when they
pick the motorcycle up. Wouldn't you like to have this kind of service
with everyone you spend your money with on products you buy?
I
say this people; Get what you pay for, pay for QUALITY and when I mean
QUALITY, I mean in ALL aspects; PRODUCTS, CRAFTSMANSHIP, WARRANTY!
(1).
PRODUCTS; High quality made that ARE reliable, VERY
BRIGHT
LED's NO FAILURE RATES, FULLY insulated
wiring.
(2).
CRAFTSMANSHIP; The professional who takes the time to make the lighting
and wiring look as though it came from the factory and professional
installation, proper gauge wiring used for LED's, type of connections
being used, insulated wiring rated for HIGH heat temperatures on ALL
wiring.
(3)
WARRANTY; LIFETIME WARRANTY that is in writing on your
invoices or your copy of paperwork or receipt.
At rallies
people will see that I have a water jug on my table that I display my
photos at, etc. This jug of water I use to show people that our LED Flex
Strips ARE waterproof by submerging the LED strip once it is plugged in
and submerged for hours on end and all lights are lit showing the
consumer that our products are water proof. I also, explain to any
consumer who wants to know about lighting that they can go to any of my
LED products, pick one and I will submerge it in water and our lights
still work under water! You can't do that with the Cut-N-Click LED
Strips, the exposed connectors on the circuit boards are NOT waterproof.
Ask any LED Dealer who is selling Cut-N-Click strips to plug one in and
fully submerge it in water for over 15 minutes while it is lit up, they
won't do it. Think of positive connector and ground connector pins and
water with voltage going to them? We all know what happens when you mix
positive + ground + water+ power means; electrical short! The
Cut-N-Click LED Strips are for sign usage with coverings over the sign
itself like your grocery store sign you see everywhere you go.
Also the Cut-N-Click LED circuit board is NOT FLEXIBLE and WILL BREAK
with the slightest bend.
I will
guarantee that most, if not ALL OTHER LED Dealers/Installers won't do
this with their products, so think about getting caught in the rain or
your bike being washed, will your LED's from another dealer work and not
short out when you turn them on and water is on the LED fixtures or
connectors on the strips?
This is why
our LED strips don't have connectors on the strips itself. Think about
it wisely before you spend YOUR money!
We DO NOT BASH other
companies out there as one particular company here in Texas does about
everyone in the business, (which I will not mention names on here), but
everyone in the LED business knows who this company is, also this
particular person in this particular company sneaks into other vendors
tents and spaces during the wee hours of the rallies after the vendors
have closed down and snoop around, they were caught at one rally. They
are NOT the best, their work is borderline. They do not back their
warranties. In fact, all one has to do is look at their work very
closely.
We DO NOT mount LED Pods on
brake calipers, swing arms, or in visible view that would make your bike
look TACKY with the LED pod mounted every which way being visible. Most
motorcycles have 1 brake caliper per wheel. Mounting an LED pod on the
brake caliper ACTUALLY illuminates one side of the wheel, plus if for
some reason the LED pod comes off while riding, think about the pod and
the wiring being tangled up in your wheel at normal or high speed!
I don't talk about any
companies by name during rallies, I explain to people what products are
out there and what to look for so the person can make the decision as to
whom they want to purchase lighting from. I explain to people when they
are shopping to watch how one is installing lighting on a motorcycle and
wait until it gets dark to see how bright the lights are prior to making
a purchase, I get 99% of those customers after I explain to them on what
to look for at OTHER LED Dealers/Installers while they are shopping and
they realize I know what I am talking about when it comes to providing a
customer with a high quality product and professional work as well.
So again I say,
RESEARCH
what you are getting before you spend your money, look at other peoples
bikes that are lit up and ask the owner of the bike, who did their light
kit. Even ask the ones who's bikes have LED's that are not bright, or
LED pods mounted on the brake calipers or swing arms so you will know
who to go to or who to stay away from.
Also, other companies who
have (testimonial) pages on their websites. Ever noticed that they have
statements from a buyer who bought their lighting they got from that
dealer. But have you also noticed that there is no link to a customer
inputting the info on a testimonial page? No, because the Dealer
can type up anything on a webpage, copy and past it from an e-mail and
also make up some good story and put a name and state where the (buyer)
is from. One company in particular, (name I can't mention here), I have
many of their customers come to me at different rallies to see if I sell
their lighting because they have lights that have failed due to them not
being waterproof and shorted out or other issues with their lighting.
Some of those customers get very frustrated because they get blown off
or put on the back burner when they find them at a motorcycle rally.
I can say to any of our
customers, "If they have any issues, they get taken care of IMMEDIATELY,
regardless of what customers are in schedule for light kits, etc." "OUR
customers don't have to wait for hours or next day to get any problems
fixed as they already paid for our products and service!" I know some
customers who got put on the back burner from the "OTHER
Dealer/Installer" to fix their problems and made them wait anywhere from
5 hours to the next day. So when the "OTHER" Dealer/Installer has a
customer who comes to me to see if I sell their lighting to get a
problem fixed, "which I don't" and they tell me the story as to being
put on the back burner, this is what I tell them to do;
"Go back and raise 9 kinds
of hell as to how much money you spent with them and state they claim to
have a lifetime warranty and demand it get fixed NOW, not hours, later
in the evening, or next day as you have other plans!" I also tell them;
"Make it very verbal with their PROBABLE customers, or customers around
so they could hear you complain about their lighting, then they will and
most likely immediately resolve your issues with their lighting as it
wouldn't be good for their business to have a paid customer complain
about their service or products so others could hear about it!"
Remember, a PAID
CUSTOMER ALWAYS COMES FIRST before an
UNPAID
CUSTOMER regardless who has an appointment or who else is in line
if there is any issues with products that was installed on their bikes!
Remember, you get what you
pay for! Spend less money on cheap products, you certainly won't get a
high quality product, much less a lifetime warranty for it especially in
writing from another dealer/installer.
That is why we only sell
HIGH QUALITY LED's with a LIFETIME WARRANTY and we put that lifetime
warranty in writing for each of our customers!
Sure, the other LED dealers
and installers will sell you 8 or 10 LED pods to get you to think that
you are getting a better deal. What they try and do is get the same
effect of lighting by using more LED pods that our products produce
which they can't do because their lighting doesn't even come close to
the brightness of our LED's!
Check around at motorcycle
rallies and look at the other LED installers display bike or LED light
display board. If they have neither, how can they show a possible
customer how much light their LED's produce also how can they show you
what their work looks like?
We SELL our LED Engine
Accent Light Kits for the same or lesser price than most LED Accent
Light Dealers/Installers around and we use connector lever blocks as
most dealers/installers do not!
Plus, our LED's are much
brighter than most LED's on the market that are sold by other
competitors when most cases they do not
compare to our lighting.
Disbelieve
in what I am saying, take a look around of some motorcycles that have
LED Accent Lighting.
Where is
all the other businesses who have the same attitude as I do. Think about
it. Where have you gone and gotten quality craftsmanship, products and
services with a good warranty backing in WRITING?
Most
dealer/installers of LED's will tell a customer they offer a lifetime
warranty, but most will not put it in writing for their customers. So if
a company does not put the warranty in writing, do you think you
actually have a warranty?
Read the
following and you will understand what I mean and do your research
before you buy, because I want you the consumer to get quality with your
money that you are going to spend for a product, or service that you are
wanting to buy.
Also, look
at some of the LED Dealer/Installers websites, look at the pictures of
motorcycles that they supposedly lit up, then look at other LED websites
and look at their pictures. Most of them will copy other peoples
pictures and claim they lit those bikes up. Well, if you have 3 or 4
different companies that have the same picture or the same motorcycle
with LED's lit up but they are not affiliated with each other, then who
REALLY lit those bikes up? Check out the websites.
ALL our
pictures are OURS and the bikes we lit up. I believe that other
companies USING someone else's pictures, they are certainly misleading
the public into "They lit those bikes up" or can make your bike look
just like the ones on their sites when in fact they didn't light up
those bikes. I found 2 companies who USED MY
PHOTOS from MY WEBSITE of bikes I LIT
UP and of course, they are not on that businesses websites
anymore. One of those companies is no longer in business. So when you
research, especially on the internet, look at the photos of motorcycles
they supposed to have lit up and then look at the other sites. Like I
had said before, if one has to be dishonest about their business, do you
think they will be HONEST in doing business with you?
People spend a lot of money on motorcycles and customs. Most of the
competitors out there will leave the positive, (red or other color
wire), and black or green wire exposed and not insulated to protect them
from heat and only heat shrink where they have twisted wires together
giving that unprofessional looking wiring harness.
Even
some cases the dealers/installers DO NOT completely cover
(insulate) the 2 conductor wire when they join the wires together for
the LED fixtures or LED light strips, leaving the 2 wires, (red and
black) un-insulated and exposed to heat and weather. There is
a reason why the wires are insulated
from the manufacturer that makes
the wire.
Our
wiring looks as if it came from the factory! Next time you see someone's
motorcycle with the LED Accent Lights take a look at the wiring and you
be the judge, (Most of the wiring and
LED fixtures
can be
seen.)
Why
settle
for
UNPROFESSIONAL
looking work?
Unplugging
is just too simple and hassle free, just hope that whoever works on your
motorcycle that they don't cut the wrong wires because some
dealer/installer didn't use connectors or connector blocks. This
is the reason we use
connector blocks for ALL our LED
wiring. It is simple and hassle free. See my point?
IT IS
YOUR MONEY!
People who
want LED Accent Lighting should realize that they should go to a
QUALITY
ORIENTED dealer/installer, not one out to make a bunch of money
or one that has been around many years that give poor craftsmanship on
the product and installation or is over priced. We sell our Hyper De-Lux
Kit with 42 LED's for about $335.
When people
spend a lot of hard earned money for a product or service they should
get the quality product and craftsmanship that should go with it and
that is what we do.
People, why
pay for something twice? Go to a quality professional
dealer/installer
the first time.
Look at
their bike very closely, looking for the LED fixtures and wiring and see
if there are any connectors or exposed wires without the insulation on
them, then ask what dealer/installer did their accent lights.
Get the
dealer to show you while you have your bike there to point out where
would be the best place to install the LED Accent Lighting, and you be
the judge that someday if you had to remove that part, would you have to
cut wires to completely free the motorcycle component for removal. Most
dealers/installers will void their warranty if any wiring is cut, unless
they cut the wires themselves.
Think
about it wisely. You can only cut wire so many times
before you have to add more wiring to replace it or make it longer, then
you may have a botched up mess, making more work for you or someone
working on your motorcycle. This is only fact!
Also if
the motorcycle dealer is going to have to cut the wiring, you can bet
you will have to pay them to re-splice it. Especially at what $75 an
hour labor or more at most dealerships? Because they will charge
you for it or leave it cut!
So the
question has to be asked, Would you own an expensive motorcycle or
car, (because they do cost a lot of hard earned money), and put poorly
installed wiring or LED Accent Lighting and have unprofessional
craftsmanship or work done on it? No you wouldn't.
The next time you go to a
motorcycle rally and you want LED Accent Lighting for your motorcycle
and you want to shop around. Wait until it is dark so you can see the
dealer/installers show bike, or product display and see the brightness
of the LED's when they are on. You can see how bright the LED's are
easier when it is dark rather than during daylight, unless they have
their show bike or LED display board completely blocked out by the
daylight so you can see the LED light effect.
Our show bike and pictures
of motorcycles and cars that we have lit up with our products that we
display during rallies is testimony of our quality products and service
that we have given to our customers. Want lighting at a rally installed
on your motorcycle, check around for quality and brightness of the LED's
before you buy!
